We here at EIE LOVE Trees. Smooth sailing, synthfunkbootybassindiepop with roots in EVERYTHING, that, at seven EPs this year, shows no sign of slowing down. Trees VI is a more refined, tighter, even more badass thrilling-machine. We hope you love it the way we do. 

Don’t be confused, kiddies. Trees VI is the seventh release. Just days before “VI” was released, Paul Grotzinger, mastermind and only member of Trees also released “Trees For Trouble” a little three song EP of tunes that, for whatever reason, were not included on “VI”. We aren’t complaining. Just glad they get to see the light of day, instead of collecting dust on an external hard drive somewhere.

Booty-Shakin’ Shrubbery.

Paul Grotzinger’s Trees, project returns with a fifth EP this year. At first listen it might play as “more of the same”, but on repeat listens, one can see Paul’s vision for this music tightening, focusing, on a more defined, more specific sound. A sleeker, sexier, more proficient killing- er, funking/dancing machine. Awesome.
